Therapy for awakening points to where freedom from suffering can be found--right here in our own essential nature. Underlying all problems is a vast source of peace and solutions. My work points to this source directly while working on reducing painful patterns in the body/mind.

I have extensive experience working with trauma resolution. I am a Somatic Experiencing (SE) practitioner with ten years experience. SE works directly with the physiology of trauma, allowing it to resolve naturally when allowed to be as it is with skillful means. This is done in a titrated, gentle way. I also have 20 years experience with EMDR, which works with the neural networks in the brain to release traumatic patterns and the beliefs formed from trauma.

In addition, I have a lot of experience working with couples. My work with couples is focused on getting in touch with your truth and learning to communicate that truth to your partner. So many relationship issues can be resolved simply by learning to tell the truth. I also work with creating an environment of safety within the relationship that allows each individual to relax conditioned patterns of reactivity and defense so that they can connect on a deeper level and heal attachment wounding. If there is openness, I point to awakened relating, which involves relying on direct contact with our essential nature n relationship.
